Op. Dr. Elbrus Zarbaliyev graduated from Azerbaijan Medical University in 2007 and then successfully completed his specialization training in General Surgery at Hacettepe University.

Dr. Zarbaliyev, who continued his career as an Assistant Professor at Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University Gaziosmanpaşa Hospital between 2014-2023, performed numerous surgeries during this period and positively affected countless lives by healing his patients. With his professional knowledge and experience, he made significant contributions both in the field of surgery and in academic platforms.

Dr. Elbrus Zarbaliyev's studies on the prediction of lymphovascular invasion in colorectal cancer and the prevention of complications in laparoscopic surgery have contributed to the development of surgical treatment approaches and the increase of the safety of minimally invasive techniques.
